Zyian Moultrie-Goddard to Decide Between Two Schools in Coming Days Following Cuse Official
The Orange hosted its top linebacker over the weekend.
Syracuse football hosted New Rochelle (NY) Iona Prep linebacker Zyian Moultrie-Goddard over the weekend for an official visit. This was Moultrie-Goddard’s third visit to campus since spring. He had previously been on campus for Junior Day and Spring Game.
” This visit we were out, a lot,” Moultrie–Goddard stated. “So I finally got the chance to see the actual campus, and the school side of things. This weekend was more about regular school and how it would feel to live there, rather than just football.
The 6-2, 240 pound linebacker said there was one part of the trip he enjoyed the most.
” The best part of the trip was when we just chilled with the players,” Moultrie–Goddard stated. It felt like I was part of the team. It felt like it was the right time to go to college. “
Moultrie-Goddard’s player host was someone with whom he had a previous relationship.
“I was with Elijah Fuentes,” Moultrie–Goddard stated. It was a great time. That’s my boy. We speak all the time because he’s Bronx-born. He didn’t really give me any new information. It’s a family environment, but you have to work hard.
Moultrie-Goddard also spent a lot of time with the Syracuse coaching staff.
” I already had a great relationship with most coaches,” Moultrie–Goddard stated. It was a pleasure to spend time with them. They are all genuine, good people. They told me they are hard workers but have fun.
” They see me in whatever linebacker position it is that I am most comfortable playing. They see me as both MIKE and outside linebacker. It’s up to me.

The campus and facilities also left an impression.
” It was really nice,” Moultrie Goddard. “I didn’t realize it was in the middle the city. It was amazing. They were very nice. “
With the Syracuse official visit in his rearview, Moultrie–Godard is now in decision making mode.
” I’m still trying decide between them or West Virginia right now,” Moultrie–Goddard stated. “It definitely gave my perspective on the school a new one. I will be committing Wednesday. Moultrie-Goddard has offers from West Virginia and Syracuse, as well as Rutgers.
