Watch: Draymond Green Gets Fan Ejected After Altercation
Midway through the third quarter, play was stopped at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee by Draymond Green, a Golden State forward, instructing referees that security be called to a fan sitting courtside behind one of the baskets. After speaking with arena security, the fan was finally removed from the court.
The incident occurred shortly after Green had engaged in an argument with the fan. Expletive-filled shouting match While Milwaukee was making free throws, Green appealed to a referee. Green appealed for a referee less than two minutes later and pointed out the fan from court.
Green claimed that the fan threatened his life after the game. According to C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle. It is not clear what the threat was or what the fan said about Green.
Milwaukee won 128-111 to hand the Warriors their third loss after four games. Green finished with two points and six rebounds, as well as seven assists, in just 23 minutes. The Bucks have won eight of their ten previous games.
