Recruits react to Florida State’s wild comeback in the Cheez-It Bowl against Oklahoma
Florida State rallied from a double-digit deficit at the end of the second quarter to win a close 35-32 victory over Oklahoma. The win was the Seminoles’ first win season with ten wins. It also marked the Seminoles’ first postseason win since 2016. The team also won over its primary rivals, Miami and Florida, in the 2022 campaign.
The Seminoles capitalized on national attention by attracting a large number of new recruits to the game and others who were watching the matchup on TV.

Four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek (FSU commit): “I’m so excited for coach Norvell, and the team. It was a wonderful way to end a great season! I couldn’t be happier being a part the Nole family. I can’t wait for what the future holds.
Five-star running back Kam Davis (FSU commit): “Amazing way of finishing the season. Several guys fought through the difficulties and everyone played together like brothers. This is the FSU football everyone loves to watch.

Koby Howard, a four-star wide receiver: “Really great game! My dad, a Miami fan, watched the entire game with me. FSU really captured my attention. This offense is deadly with Jordan Travis. I can see myself playing in that offensive system. Jordan will be long gone when I reach college. With my speed and hands, I’m going be a nightmare to defenses! FSU tonight has achieved a major accomplishment with double-digit wins in a single season. It would be great to be part of a winning team! FSU is on my top 10 list right now. After the February national signing day, I’ll be out with my Top 10!
Wide receiver DL Hardison, FSU commit “Upset, I couldn’t make the trip there, but I saw the game live!” It was an amazing game! We are proud of the team for accomplishing something that hasn’t been done since 2016.
