QB Josh Rosen Signs to Vikings Practice Squad

Rosen has not played in an NFL game since November 18, 20,21 when he completed 1-of-3 passes against the Patriots.

Rosen spent one month, nine days with the Browns’ practice squad this season. On October 10, Cleveland released Rosen from the Browns’ practice squad. He was now a free agent.

Rosen’s career has taken an unusual turn since he was drafted No. 10 by the Cardinals. After a three-year UCLA career, Rosen was the 10th pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

In his Arizona rookie year, he threw 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He was with the Cardinals the entire season, but he was traded to the Dolphins for a second and fifth-round draft pick. Kyler Murray No. 1 was his replacement. 1, in the 2019 draft.

In 2019, Rosen played six games for Miami, throwing only one touchdown against five interceptions. Before landing with the Falcons, Rosen bounced around the 49ers’ and Buccaneers practice squads.

Rosen’s signing by Minnesota follows that of David Blough, the Vikings’ losing practice squad quarterback. Arizona signed Rosen on Wednesday after Murray tore the ACL against the Patriots.
