Myles Turner’s Injury Status For Wizards-Pacers Game

The Indiana Pacers are hosting the Washington Wizards for each team’s first game of the 2022-23 NBA regular season.
The Pacers have just come off a difficult year and are now in full rebuilding mode.
They will be without Myles Turner, one of their most important players.
The former Texas star has been out of action with an ankle injury.
Via Underdog NBA: “Myles Turner (ankle) ruled out Wednesday. “
Over the last year, the Pacers have traded away core players such as Malcom Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert. Turner and those three players made up a solid roster. But now, he is the only one left. They will likely miss the NBA Playoffs this season and the play-in tournament.
The Wizards have an intriguing roster going into the year.
Last year, they traded for 2018 NBA All Star Kristaps Porzingis. They now have a big trio of Kyle Kuzma and Bradley Beal.
These three offensive talents are unique and could make a significant impact on the Eastern Conference if they stay healthy.
While they are not a title contender, it is possible that they could be a top eight seed.
Last year, they were the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference, but Beal missed a large chunk of the season due to injury.
Porzingis was once a promising prospect, and he is still just 27 years old entering the new season.
