Michigan Unveils New Addition To Helmet For College Football Playoff
On Friday, the Michigan Wolverines revealed a new addition for their Helmet.
The Michigan Football helmet is one the most iconic pieces of athletic equipment in the world. Now, it will be getting a new addition to the college football playoff.
Honorary member of team 143, Dametrius “Meechie”, Walker, passed away exactly one week ago, after a two year battle with bone cancer.
Meechie’s presence in the football program had a huge impact on him and on the players, coaches, and other people who had the opportunity to spend time with him.
To honor Meechie’s legacy and life, the Wolverines will wear stickers on their helmets to commemorate him.
