Michael Amadio to Make Appearance in Thursday’s Lineup
Vegas Golden Knights forward Michael Amadio will take the place of Paul Cotter in Thursday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Vegas Golden Knights forward Michael Amadio will be taking the place of Paul Cotter on Thursday night when Vegas hosts the Winnipeg Jets.
Amadio skated with the third line in Thursday’s practice. I think with Paul it was a simple decision to let him skate through it in Seattle. “And [in] Calgary we just felt that it wasn’t at the same level, so [we] said] ‘Hey. This is what you need for us, and then we’ll ask the next guy to do.’ Fairness be told, Amo had a great camp and has played here. We wanted a different flavour, so we are switching back. “
As far as Amadio’s approach for Thursday’s contest goes, it’s quite “simple.” “
” Keep it simple,” he stated. “Make sure I have a strong work ethic and do my best to help my teammates and linemates win. “
Amadio will have William Karlsson, and Jonathan Marchessault as his line.

Marchessault said Amadio brings “a lot of skills” to the game.
” “I think he’s an underrated player,” Marchessault stated. He is a great player with and without the puck, and he always makes his linemates better. It’s a pleasure to play with him. “
If the team wants to get back into the win column, Marchessault stated that defense will be crucial.
” It needs to be a big match for us,” Marchessault stated. “We have to do what we can to get back on the winning path. That’s what I believe is the most important thing tonight. We have to get back on track, play defensively, limit scoring chances, and I think we’ll be successful if that happens. “
