Methane emissions from Gulf of Mexico oil drilling higher than estimated, study finds

A study published in April found oil and gas drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico released twice as much methane as estimated in previous studies. Eric Kort, co-author of the study and associate professor of climate, space sciences and engineering at the University of Michigan, joined CBS News to discuss the data and ways to mitigate the damage caused by this climate-changing gas.
