Matt Ryan was a part of an NFL team that lost yet another huge lead on Saturday, and this made him an unfortunate NFL historian.
The Colts led 33-0 at halftime against the Vikings, and 36-7 with 4 minutes remaining in the third quarter. Minnesota came back with The largest comeback in NFL history After scoring 33 points in a game that reached overtime. Ryan was not the first to lead a team that lost in an historic comeback.
These moments are often associated with Super Bowl LI between the Patriots or Falcons. With 18 minutes left, Ryan and Atlanta had a 25 point lead. But New England came back in Houston with 31 unanswered goals that day. This overtime game was the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.
