LeBron Unhappy After Ohio State’s Kicker Misses Potential Game-Winner
LeBron James was the one who was rooting for Ohio State against Georgia in Saturday’s College Football Playoff semifinal match.
LeBron, a Buckeyes fan and avid watcher, was excited to see the Peach Bowl. He shared his excitement in a postgame interview after his 47-point performance against the Hawks in the Lakers’ 130-121 win.
James was unhappy when Ohio State kicker Noah Ruggles missed wide right on a 50-yard field goal that would have won the game.
James: “WTF was that?” Tweet.
C.J. Buckeyes was the Buckeyes’ quarterback prior to Ruggles’s missed field goal. Stroud led Ohio State to the Bulldogs 31-yard line. However, Buckeyes running back Dallan Hayden lost a yard before Stroud threw two incomplete pass that set up Ruggles’s field goal.
Ohio State (11-2), ended its season with a 42-41 loss. TCU (14-0) will play the Bulldogs (14-0). The College Football Playoff national championship match will be played at SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California on Jan. 9.
