‘It’ll Happen’: Atlanta Falcons Legend Michael Vick Makes Colin Kaepernick NFL Prediction
Vick believes that Kaepernick’s NFL return will come about in due time.
Michael Vick is no stranger to NFL quarterbacking controversy, and for that reason and more, his opinion on the future of another newsworthy figure carries weight.
Vick now ranks among those who still believe that Colin Kaepernick can play in the MFL.
Vick is the former No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick who started his career and starred with the Atlanta Falcons, believes that Kaepernick, who hasn’t played in the league since 2016, still has what it takes to be an NFL quarterback – and even a starting quarterback. Vick stated that he believes it will happen in the ”come time”.

Perhaps there are lessons to learn from Vick, who made three Pro Bowls in six years with the Falcons before he pleaded guilty for his involvement in dog fishing and spent 21 months in federal prison. He was named Comeback Player of Year by the Eagles and was a four-time Pro Bowler.
“He has been out of the league for a couple of years and hasn’t played since a long while. It’d probably be smart to come in as a backup and only play that role for two or three more years,” Vick said during a visit to Outsidekick. “And when you have the chance to play, you prove that you can. You win a series. You win five or six games,”
Kaepernick, 34, was essentially drummed out of the NFL due to his political and social positions. The NFL has an official policy on how this happened. However, the former San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl quarterback hasn’t had much of a sniff outside of engaging in a recent workout with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this offseason. … even as some media outlets suggest he would somehow automatically start in some NFL cities, including in Atlanta, over Marcus Mariota and rookie Desmond Ridder.
