Auburn OL Target Clay Wedin reopens his recruitment
Clay Wedin, who was committed to the Michigan State Spartans in June 14,, has announced his decommitment to them. Wedin announced via Twitter that he would open his recruitment again on Monday evening.
Wedin is a native of Tampa and has been on the Tigers’ radar since a while. His commitment to MSU hasn’t slowed them from pursuing the prospect. Because of his NFL experience in Tampa Bay, Carnell “Cadillac”, Williams has been an integral part this recruitment. Will Friend, the Tigers’ defensive line coach, has been involved in trying to get Wedin back from the Spartans.
The de-commitment comes only nine days after Wedin’s unofficial visit to the Plains. The visit, which was the LSU game, seems to have made an impression on the 6-6 295-pound interior offensive lineman.
