Attack on Rep. Connolly’s staffers comes amid spike in threats against lawmakers
Two staff members for Democratic Congressman Gerry Connolly were attacked Monday in Virginia by a man with a metal baseball bat. A short time earlier, a home security camera captured video of the suspect chasing a woman while holding a bat. All this comes amid a spike in threats against lawmakers.
