Pennsylvania house explosion kills at least 4
At least five people were killed and two others were taken to area hospitals when a house exploded in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Thursday evening, CBS Philadelphia reports. Crews are still spraying water on the house as neighbors try to collect the pieces, according to CBS Philadelphia
Officials did not provide any other information about the victims.

Three homes were destroyed in the explosion, according to CBS Philly. Kerri Corrado of CBS Philly reports that the blast sent debris and dry wall into neighboring yards.

A man who lives nearby heard a loud bang and felt the impact.
“I was in my room chilling,” Kaleef Blackwood told CBS Philly. “I was upstairs when I heard a loud boom, like a bomb going off or something.” It just shaken the entire house. “
The town’s schools will be closed Friday.
Montgomery County officials believe a gas explosion started the fire, CBS Philly reports. The incident is still being investigated by authorities.
