DynaVaps They are my favorite. They are pocketable and produce great clouds of vapor. It’s a one-hitter vape that comes with a thermometer. The tip should be heated first with an induction heater or torch. The cap will click within 3 to 5 seconds to indicate that the herb has reached the right temperature and is ready to hit. The average lifespan of cannabis is three to four times. The cap protects the ground cannabis from the flame so there is no combustion or smoke. There is very little smell.
The DynaVap vaporizers can be CNC machined at the company’s DeForest facility in Wisconsin. The company was founded by George Breiwa in 2015. It currently employs 40 people. The company offers a variety of little metal vapes, starting at the $50 “B”, and ending at the $220 titanium Omni.
Warning: I have given DynaVaps to many friends and they either love it or hate them. It takes some practice to get a good cloud.
Puffco is a leader in the market for innovative cannabis vaporizers. The Puffco Peak Pro is a top-rated e-rig. And the company just released a new vape, the The. Proxy. It features the Peak Pro’s best features and can be adapted into a variety of form factors.
The pipe is beautiful, but don’t let it distract you. It’s just a small piece of glass. The Proxy can slide into the glass piece. The Proxy can be considered a modular dabbing rig that can fit into any size unit. Bubbler? Sure. Glass beaker? Yep. Pipe? Obviously.
The self-contained rig costs $299 and is approximately the same size as a taller D cell battery. The Peak Pro, the company’s flagship product, has the same heating element. The battery can be charged via USB-C and the unit is preprogrammed to provide four heat levels.
This is how you can get it. Hitoki Saber A high-powered laser is used to light a bowl. Although it is not inexpensive, it is a great alternative to butane lighters. Simply press the button and the laser will shoot into a packed bowl. It works with any type of glass, and the best part is that it can be used with any type of glass with the right adapter. Best of all?lasers.
Hitoki’s second device, the Saber, is the first to feature the laser system and all-in-one Trident. The Trident is larger than the Saber, but it has an integrated water chamber as well as a mouthpiece.
It’s not cheap to light your pot with lasers. Both Hitoki products are expensive: The Saber is $359 and the Trident $499.(opens in new window)
KushKards They are amazing. I mentioned above that if you don’t have any other options for the stoners in your life, give them pre-rolls. To make your pre-roll stand out, you can tuck it into a KushKard.
These clever greeting cards have a special spot to hold a preroll. They are designed around cute one-liners such as “joint the world” and “light up the holidays.”
The cards start at $7 and offer the option of a holiday-themed one hitter.
Houseplant Car Lighter
Seth Rogen’s marijuana brand sells great cannabis products. The best? It’s the Car Lighter. It’s a fun and creative repurposing the old pop-out car lighter that we all used as kids. Now it’s housed in a large block that’s perfect to use as a coffee table. Push the lighter down and it will pop out ready to light your next cigar.
The Car Lighter is made from marble and comes in two colors: gray and green. It’s quite a statement piece at $280
Green: A Field Guide To Marijuana
Green: A Field Guide To Marijuana This coffee table book is filled with beautiful photos of classic strains. Although it is marketed as a guide, I find it to be a great book to have on hand during a chill session. Learn about the lineage, flavor and effects of 170 marijuana strains. The photography is amazing!
You can choose to be a aspiring weed grower for the person in your life. This book instead. The Marijuana Grower’s Handbook, written by Ed Rosenthal (who is a big deal), is an all-in one source for growing a great crop.
Storz & Bickel Mighty
This is the best vaporizer on the market. It is reliable, can cook a lot, and produces the best vapor of any vaporizer. It has its drawbacks, including its large size and $399 cost, but it’s well worth it.
The original Storz & Bickel version was released in 2014. An updated version was released in October 2021. The new Mighty has a faster heat-up time, USB C recharging, and a ceramic filling compartment that is easier to clean than the original.
Quick tip: The Mighty has orange arrow buttons, whereas the original’s have gray. The new one is what you want.
Markus Storz began working on a herbal vaporizer back in 1996. In 2002, Jurgen Bickel joined the board and formed Storz & Bickel. The original, revolutionary Volcano vaporizer is still sold by the company, as well as several other less expensive products. The company is based out of Germany, where its vaporizers are medical device certified. Canopy Growth, a Canadian cannabis giant, acquired Storz & Bickel in 2018. Jurgen Bickel is still with the company and manages the day-today operations.
You want something smaller? The Crafty is smaller and cheaper, but still packs the same power as the Mighty .

Pot Plant (Fake Pot Plant)
Give a Pot Plant This holiday. But it is not a real holiday. These fake plants are meant to be displayed. They come in many sizes and faux strains. The Clone (the smallest option) is 10 inches tall and $30. It is subtle because the plastic plant pretends to be in a state where there are no buds yet, just like an actual clone.
The Teen plant stands 16 inches tall and has a few small buds. The Adult measures 22 inches and has a few fake-growing buds. The Mother Pot Plant, which is 36 inches tall and costs $165, is a giant fake plant with frosty buds all over the plant.
